Matt Albie is a major character in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip on NBC. He is played by starring cast member Matthew Perry and debuts in the series pilot. Albie is an Executive Producer and the Head Writer of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip on NBS.[1]

Matt began his career as a staff writer of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Eventually he worked his way up to Co-Executive Producer. He was dismissed from his job at Studio 60, officially for his "outspoken politics". [1] Matt went on to write several screenplays, including the critically acclaimed Removing All Doubt that would be directed by long time friend Danny Tripp.[1]

Personal life[]

Matt at one time dated Studio 60 star Harriet Hayes after leaving the show. It was reported by friends that they had parted ways prior to his return to the show. Matt is culturally and religiously Jewish, however, he is more of an agnostic Jew.
