Melissa Myers is an American screenwriter. She was a Staff Writer for the NBC drama Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and co-wrote stories for two episodes of the series. Studio 60 creator Aaron Sorkin also hired her as a writer for his earlier series The West Wing.

She joined the crew of Studio 60 for when the series was picked up for a full season in 2006. She co-wrote the story for the episode with fellow Staff Writer Amy Turner. The teleplay for the episode was written by Studio 60 creator Aaron Sorkin. She also co-wrote the story for the episode with Turner. The teleplay for the episode was again written by Sorkin.

She was also a writer's assistant and researcher for Sorkin's earlier series The West Wing. She joined the crew as a writer's assistant for the fourth season and remained in this role until the sixth season. She became a researcher for the seventh and final season. She has also worked as a writer's assistant on Watching Ellie.
