NBS (an abbreviation for National Broadcasting System) is an fictional American television network based on the fictional television network UBS (Union Broadcasting System) featured in the 1976 film Network written by Paddy Chayefsky. NBS is home to Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (NBS).

In the world of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (NBC), the network is in direct competition with the current major networks of NBC, CBS and ABC. No mention has yet been made of the FOX network.
